Neil Strauch is a record producer, engineer, and mixer based in Chicago, IL. Having cut his teeth as a staff engineer at Engine Studios and as engineer for producer Brian Deck, Neil soon branched out on his own. Now with more than a decade of experience producing recordings across genres, his credits include work with such artists as Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Owls, Owen, Joan of Arc, Iron & Wine, Andrew Bird, Counting Crows, and Anathallo, amongst many others. Whether at trusted studios Narwhal or Shirk Studios, his own mix studio, numerous other recording spots around the city and country, or working on-site for gallery performances and installations, Neil strives to make each piece he has his hands on as unique and personally effective as possible and works to tailor the production process for each specific project to achieve that end.
